Lengthy Review of the Day } The Wolfman

Laverne and I got a wild hair about us last night and ventured to our local cinema to go see The Wolfman. We both got excited about the elements of this film: talented actors, excellent story, potentially amazing effects. Well friends, I hate to admit it but this movie was a good try but missed the mark.

From the plot line being far too obvious to the effects being mediocre, I just couldn’t be mystified by one to not notice the other {Avatar}. I had so many questions during and at the end of this one but the main one being how much of the film ended up on the cutting room floor? Additionally, and worth noting, where was the budget from visual effects moved to? The set? The trained dog?

All in all folks, I say don’t waste your dough.

In this economy, keep paying your cable bill and FX will show it soon enough.

Grade: D, Does not meet expectations.
